National Training Committee
The training of members to better equip themselves to serve in our role as SANParks volunteers, is a core part of the SANParks Honorary Ranger functioning. Every member has to go through a set of courses to qualify as an HR and is encouraged to further qualify themselves to be better equipped for duty.
The courses are not aimed at creating a few super knowledgeable members, and keeping others who are less academically inclined out. It is rather aimed at equipping members for duty.
Training is coordinated on a national level, to ensure that there is a common standard which is upheld across the movement. The National Training Committee is tasked to investigate, plan, and coordinate all training activities.
The NTC consists of capable representatives from across the country.
