PEAP Display BEELD Show 17-19 February 2012
PEAP Display at Maponya Mall Soweto.
Soweto Display (September 9th,10th and 11th 2011)
Public Education and Awareness Project (PEAP) held it‚s 1st Display at the popular Maponya Mall in Soweto on 9th to 11th of September, which drew a large number of visitors.
The display was manned by members from the Johannesburg, Johannesburg South, West Rand and East Rand Regions of the SANParks Honorary Rangers
Members of the public from all walks of life, from young kids to the elderly interacted with the Honorary Rangers and there was a large amount of interest in shown by members of the public in joining the SANParks Honorary Rangers.
A list of 55 people was recorded as potential future Honorary Rangers of which 7 are Juniors
At the Joburg South regional meeting on Tuesday 20 September 2011, members of the public travelled from Soweto to attend the meeting, including one individual who took a train, taxi and walked to the venue.
The Display was a great success and enjoyed by all the SANParks Honorary Rangers
