10th Annual Mokala Bush Concert

Members of the Free State Region proudly hosted the 10th annual Mokala Bush Concert in the Mokala National Park over the weekend of 11 – 13 April 2025, culminating in the highlight of the weekend – the concert – on Saturday evening.

The performing artists included internationally renowned soprano Amira Willighagen who, at 9 years of age, won the “Holland’s Got Talent” show in 2013, and the incredibly talented South African tenor, Jannie Moolman. What a spectacular evening it was, with glorious music under star-lit skies and a near-full moon. Even the jackal joined in the festivities with their distant calls, as if applauding the singers. We were delighted to host international supporters of Amira’s Gelukskinders Foundation, together with guests from across South Africa.

Our guests were united in their appraisal: the best Mokala Bush Concert ever! We look forward to welcoming guests back for another musical performance under the stars in 2026!

Proceeds of the event will go towards conservation projects in South African National Parks.
