Regional meetings:
East Rand Region meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Dutch Reformed Church, 32 Malpensa Ave, Bonaero Park, Kempton Park.
Visitors are welcomed by our friendly visitors’ team and are provided with information on becoming an Honorary Ranger.
East Rand Region
East Rand Region is a strong and motivated Region that is actively involved with wish list projects in Kruger National Park and Marakele National Park.
The Region has pioneered the building of vegetable gardens enclosed in a steel structure in remote ranger camps of Kruger National Park providing the Field Rangers of SANParks and their families’ access to freshly grown vegetables.
Other projects such as Phabeni Gardens and the upgrading of the Interpretation centre added value to the Park.
East Rand Region is also involved with Project Embrace and Project Relax in Kruger National Park and Marakele National Park.
East Rand Region is also actively involved with wish list projects in Marakele such as the building of the 4 x 4 Trail route.
