Magalies Region
Magalies region is based in the North of Pretoria. Magalies is small enough to be intimate and big enough to pack a proper punch. Being the youngest region of the organisation we pride ourselves in innovation, enthusiasm and the ability to utilise our member’s skills and passion.
Our members are active in national projects such as bush camps, ranger support, K9 and Junior Honorary Rangers. Exciting projects of the region include the now-famous backpack trail “The Kruger Trail”, Kuwisa and the restoration of the historical Papenfuss Clock Tower in Skukuza.
Magalies’ focus parks are Kruger, Marakele and Mapungubwe. We do however also assist in other parks such as i.e. Golden Gate. Our members can work in any of our national parks.
