Monthly meetings are held at 18:00 every third Wednesday of Jan-Nov at the Vaalpark Articon High School.
Vaal Triangle Region
The region consists of members from towns of the Vaal Triangle (Sasolburg, Vanderbijlpark & Vereeniging) and surrounding areas such as Meyerton, De Deur, Henley-on-Klip and towns in the Northern Freestate. National Parks supported are Kruger National Park, Golden Gate Highlands National Park, Marakele National Park and Mokala National Park.
The region is involved in hosting camps at National Bush Camps and are hosting camps at Sand River Bush Camp and Nyarhi Rustic Bush Camp regularly. The region is also supporting Kingfisher section in KNP as far as Project Relax is concerned. The region is also involved in Project Embrace, mainly in Marakele NP. The region has various fund raising activities to support SANParks. The region has donated items from SANParks’ wishlists at the following National Parks: KNP, Golden Gate, Marakele and Augrabies.
