Donation to Addo Elephant National Park

The SANParks Honorary Rangers, Addo region wishes to thank MSD  Animal Health in Port Elizabeth for the generous donation of a year’s supply of Bravecto Chew tablets to control ticks and lice on all five of our lovable K-9 dogs at Addo.
Hans von Gordon secured the sponsorship and here Tessa Machtle handed over the tables to the two dog handlers at Addo main camp.

ECMR Eastern Cape donated 8 first aid kits to the rangers at Addo Elephant National Park. Since the rangers operate mostly in the veld, and may be far away from any immediate medical assistance, the first aid kits will come in very handy.

The members of SANParks Honorary Rangers, Addo Region, have been hard at work the past two months in upgrading the K-9 unit enclosure for our most precious dogs.

Glendore Sand and Stone donated cement, sand, stone and labour to build a cement slab around the enclosure. We needed some building equipment and Talisman Tool and Hire donated the necessary equipment.

Last week, the final touches were added, when a shade area was erected by members. The shade cloth was donated by Madiba Bay Shades.

We want to thank all our sponsors for their contribution towards this project and to Hans von Gordon for making it possible. The dogs love running on the cement slab!!
