Spend some time with your head in the clouds in the tranquil Ingula Nature Reserve, South Africa’s 27th Wetland of International Importance Ramsar Site.  Located on the escarpment near Van Reenen, KwaZulu-Natal, newly opened Ingula proudly provides picturesque spotting opportunities for some of South Africa’s most iconic and endangered birds.

With over 340 species to spot, specials include Grey Crowned, Wattled and Blue Cranes, Southern Bald Ibis, Yellow-breasted Pipit, Denham’s Bustard and Cape Vulture. It’s a treat for both casual birdwatchers and ornithologists alike.
