The list was reviewed by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI), the Millenium Seed Bank, and the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens. This was to determine which species are already being conserved in other facilities. A trained nursery team will care for the selected species according to their natural habitat requirements.
