Magical melodies in the forest – Nature’s Valley On 9 September 2023, another successful Concert in the Forest was hosted by the Tsitsikamma Region at Nature’s Valley Rest Camp. Saxophonist Jaco Kriek captivated the audience with his versatile and engaging tunes. The Park Manager, Victor Mokoena and his team attended as VIP guests on the evening. Mario Engelbrecht, a member of the Tsitsikamma Region, also contributed to the musical repertoire. The magical atmosphere in the forest was magnified by music, candles and campfires. Funds raised from the concert were allocated to the repair of canoes at Nature’s Valley. The canoes were ready for use by the December holiday period. Funds were also allocated to infrastructural repairs at the camp sites at both at Nature’s Valley and Storms River Mouth following extensive storm damage the week after the concert.
